SummaryAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our next-generation payment platform. This position requires strong hands-on experience with distributed systems, Java-based microservices, and high-volume transaction processing. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions while collaborating closely with product, infrastructure, security, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Software Development

• Design, architect, and develop backend software solutions for high-volume payment processing.
• Create and maintain high-quality, optimized code with robust unit tests and appropriate test coverage.
• Develop scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions using Java and Spring technologies.
• Contribute to the evolution of the payment platform and its underlying architecture.

2. Software Architecture & Distributed Systems

• Lead the design and architecture of complex distributed systems that handle real-time financial transactions at scale.
• Take a lead role in the transition to a microservices-based architecture for payments.
• Design and implement solutions based on Event-Driven Software Design Patterns.
• Ensure systems meet high standards of scalability, security, and reliability.

3. Payments & Integrations

• Lead the integration of payment gateways, banks, card networks, and alternative payment methods.
• Work with payment flows, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud detection mechanisms.

• Design and develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
