Manpower Croatia, on behalf of its client Irundo d.o.o., a reputable company specializing in property management in the tourism sector, is looking for a candidate for the position of:

Senior Accountant (m/f)

Location: Zagreb, Croatia

Key Responsibilities

- Independently managing the accounting operations of Irundo and its acquired companies - Maintaining the general ledger - Processing payroll - Performing monthly closings and preparing reports for management and the group (in English) - Preparing annual financial statements (GFI-POD) and corporate income tax returns - Liaising with auditors, the Tax Administration and banks - Integrating the accounting operations of acquired companies - Leading the implementation of new accounting systems - Introducing AI tools and automation into accounting processes - Providing professional support and guidance to colleagues

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience as an independent accountant - Solid knowledge of Croatian Financial Reporting Standards (CFRS), the Croatian VAT Act and the Corporate Income Tax Act - Experience in independently preparing year-end financial statements - Experience with AI tools and the implementation of new accounting systems is an advantage - Very good command of English, both written and spoken - Accuracy, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
