About the Role:The Medical Director of Medical Affairs (MA) is responsible for the development of medical strategies and execution of tactics related to the company’s strategy for assigned projects.
This is an expert scientific and medical position focused on providing leadership and core medical deliverables for assigned pipeline molecules. As such the position will require a deep understanding of neuroscience/psychiatry and of driving projects in a matrix organization. The primary focus is the development and accountability for core MA deliverables, such as scientific exchange, evidence generation, strategic oversight, pull through of scientific communication and developing the strategic communication drivers and the scientific narrative aligned with corporate goals and brand strategy.
The Medical Director must embody strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, be compliant with company SOPs, be self-motivated and pay attention to detail and timely completion of assignments while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. _The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $250,900.00-$342,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
