Managing Director / CEO, Portugal SAP Consulting Entity

A leading SAP consulting firm is expanding its presence in Portugal and is looking for an entrepreneurial Managing Director / CEO to build and lead its Portuguese entity.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced SAP consulting leader or business builder who wants to take ownership of creating a successful organisation in the Portuguese market.

You will shape the local strategy, build the team, develop client relationships and establish Portugal as a high-quality consulting and delivery hub for projects across Portugal, the DACH region and Europe.

The opportunity As Managing Director / CEO, you will be responsible for the growth and performance of the Portuguese organisation.

Your focus will include: • Defining and executing the Portuguese growth strategy together with German leadership. • Building a high-performing SAP consulting organisation from the ground up. • Recruiting, developing and retaining consultants, managers and future leaders. • Designing scalable operating models, processes and governance. • Driving business development, sales, pre-sales and proposals. • Developing relationships with Portuguese and international clients. • Ensuring delivery quality, utilisation and client satisfaction. • Acting as the primary link between Portugal, German headquarters and international project teams. • Creating a strong, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture. • Representing the organisation within the Portuguese SAP and consulting market.

Your background You may be an experienced: • Managing Director, Country Manager, CEO or General Manager within SAP consulting. • SAP Programme Director, Practice Lead or Consulting Partner ready for broader business responsibility. • Senior SAP transformation leader interested in building and scaling an organisation. • SAP Sales Director or Lead.

We are particularly interested in people who bring: • Significant experience in SAP consulting or services. • A proven track record of building teams, practices or consulting organisations. • Strong commercial acumen, including business development and client acquisition. • Experience managing budgets, resources, delivery performance and operational targets. • Credibility when engaging with senior clients and executive stakeholders. • A pragmatic, hands-on and entrepreneurial leadership style. • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English. German is a strong advantage. • A strong understanding of the Portuguese SAP talent and consulting market.
