Join our dynamic team in Service Application Engineering, where you will lead a dedicated group focused on supporting sales with technical scopes for Modifications and Upgrades. Imagine being at the forefront of innovation, working closely with the CD&NUC organization to ensure our offerings are seamless and cohesive for our customers. You will collaborate with the sales manager for M&U to discuss upcoming projects and prioritize effectively. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding your team as they support all gas turbine products across various regions, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will distribute incoming sales projects within the team, fostering transparency on prioritization and deadlines with the sales department. Support and mentor your team members in their daily tasks, ensuring that scope, cost, and risk assessments are completed on time and to the highest quality. Actively collaborate with the Sales M&U and Sales and Bid Enablement teams within CD&NUC, while also engaging with other internal interfaces in Finspång and across regions. By being present and coaching your team, you will enhance group dynamics, individual growth, and overall management effectiveness. Initiate and drive improvements in processes and tools, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our business operations and interfaces.

What You Bring

You possess a technical background relevant to Gas Turbine Engineering, ideally holding a Master of Science in Control, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in the gas turbine sector. Experience with gas turbines or service business is highly valued. A keen interest in process improvement will be beneficial, as this is a key focus area for our team. Previous leadership experience, whether in a managerial role or other leadership positions, is a plus. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Swedish is an advantage. You are structured, driven, and open-minded, ready to take on challenges and lead your team to success.

About the Team

Application Engineering is a collaborative environment consisting of 7 teams and approximately 75 employees. The Modifications and Upgrades (M&U) team comprises 5 dedicated members and several contractors from diverse backgrounds around the globe. We prioritize mutual support and the development of strong technical knowledge within the team. There is always someone available to discuss solutions and ideas before finalizing the scope. Additionally, we have established an internal mentorship program to ensure new team members receive the guidance they need to thrive.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
