The Opportunity

We're partnering with a private equity-backed business experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation to recruit a Management Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to join a fast-paced environment where they can take ownership of management accounts, balance sheet integrity, intercompany accounting and month-end reporting while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic initiatives. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting business performance, and helping drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs. • Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making. • Lead month-end activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. • Own and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across key accounts. • Support ongoing balance sheet clean-up initiatives and strengthen financial controls. • Manage intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. • Assist with year-end reporting, audit requirements and statutory obligations. • Drive process improvements and enhance reporting efficiencies. • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight. • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight.

About You • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. • Previous experience in Management Accounting or a similar finance role. • Strong understanding of month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets. • Proactive, commercially minded and keen to contribute beyond the numbers. • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
