Supporter Care Officer

Job Type: Temporary (3-month contract) Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid - office required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) Salary: £13.73 per hour Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Supporter Care Officer to join our charity based in Milton Keynes. This role is essential for building and maintaining positive relationships with our donors, fundraisers, members, volunteers, and supporters, encouraging ongoing engagement and support for our organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

Respond to supporter enquiries via phone, email, and post. Process donations and ensure accurate records are maintained on the CRM/database. Manage direct debit and regular giving programmes. Thank supporters and acknowledge contributions. Handle complaints and resolve supporter issues professionally. Update supporter information and ensure GDPR compliance. Support fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals. Produce reports on donations and supporter activity. Encourage supporter retention and increase long-term donations. Build strong relationships to enhance the supporter experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong administration and data entry skills. Experience using CRM databases Attention to detail and accuracy. Empathy and relationship-building skills. Ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally. Good organisational and time-management skills. Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
